Is Oat Milk Healthy? 

Oats are among the healthiest grains on earth and make a wonderful healthy plant-based milk choice. They are gluten-free and a good source of important vitamins, minerals, fibre and antioxidants.

When making Oat Milk from home, you'll avoid added sugar and other unhealthy additives often found in most plant-based milks. 

Oat Milk Recipe 

  1. To make Oat Milk simply add 1 cup rolled oats + 4 cups water to a high-speed blender and blend on high for 30-45 seconds. Then strain through a Nut Milk Bag, clean t-shirt or towel for best results. 

Tips To Ensure A Creamy, Non Slimy Oat Milk 

Over-Blending

This can can make the Oat Milk slimy, stick to the time limit noted above.

Soaking Your Oats

There is no need to soak your oats, in fact soaking may make the oats slimy. Simply add oats to the blender with water and blend!

Strain Twice

To remove any excess starch which can also lend to a slimy texture.

Types Of Straining

We recommend straining with a towel or clean t-shirt. Nut Milk Bags may allow too much pulp through.
